Access Road Construction Approved By BC Ministry Of Energy Mines And Petroleum Resources

Vancouver, B.C. – November 28, 2007 – Mantle Resources Inc. (TSX Venture: MTS; Frankfurt: AOF7E1) (the “Company”), is very pleased to report that it has received government approval to construct access roads to the Cardiac Creek Zone (CCZ) mineralization on its 100% owned Akie zinc-lead property, in northeastern British Columbia, approximately 260 kilometers north-northwest of the town of Mackenzie.

Access Road Description

Mantle submitted a Notice of Work application to the British Columbia Ministry of Mines and Petroleum Resources at the end of September for the construction of a new access road that will, in part, be an extension of the existing Akie forestry logging road.  The length of the main road extension is estimated at 9 kilometres and follows a planned route previously designed by the logging company in the district.  The planned route will provide road access to the CCZ target area and will greatly facilitate the Company’s future exploration plans and additional site work.

In addition to the 9 kilometres of mainline road extension, the design includes the construction of two shorter drill access roads totaling 7.5 kilometres.  The two shorter drill access roads will greatly assist in the Company’s future drilling plans for the CCZ as they will provide access to both hanging wall and footwall sites for more detailed drilling.  The straight line distance from the existing all weather camp to the CCZ mineralization is approximately 12 kilometres.  This new access road will reduce overall drilling costs, will increase the programs productivity and will facilitate essentially year round drilling. Importantly, road access will also provide for safer operations for both Mantle personnel and its contractors.

The design of the road layout requires the harvesting of marketable timber and the Company is awaiting an Occupant License to Cut for which an application has been submitted to the Ministry of Forests.  The Company expects to receive the license shortly which should allow work to commence by late January, with completion anticipated by late summer, 2008.

“During 2007, we completed 6,280 metres of drilling in 12 holes on the Akie property.  The new access road will allow us to considerably expand the amount of drilling we can complete in a season and it will provide us with significant flexibility in our planning.  It will also enable us to more rapidly explore, assess and develop the CCZ area in the months to come,” stated Jim Mustard, President of Mantle.

About the Akie Property

The Akie zinc-lead property is situated within the southern-most part (Kechika Trough) of the regionally extensive Paleozoic Selwyn Basin, one of the most prolific sedimentary basins in the world for the occurrence of SEDEX zinc-lead-silver and stratiform barite deposits.

Drilling on the Akie property by both Inmet Mining Corporation during the period 1994 to 1996 and by Mantle in 2005 and 2006 and this year has identified a significant body of baritic SEDEX mineralization (Cardiac Creek Zone).  The deposit is hosted by variably siliceous, fine grained clastic rocks of the Middle to Late Devonian ‘Gunsteel Formation.

Two similar deposits, Cirque and South Cirque, located some 20 kilometers northwest of Akie and owned under a joint venture by Teck Cominco and Korea Zinc, are also hosted by Gunsteel rocks and have a combined geologic inventory in excess of 50 million tonnes averaging approximately 10% combined zinc+lead.

Qualified Person

John R. Fraser, P.Geo. (B.C.) is the Qualified Person for the Company, as defined by NI 43-101, and is responsible for the technical information contained in this release.
